- Emily Vincent, QKA, is President of Douglas M. Farr & Co., Inc, a third-party retirement plan administration firm located in La Crescenta, California. She works with business owners, financial advisors, and tax professionals to develop effective retirement strategies for her clients. Whether a business owner is thinking about implementing a retirement plan for their company, or re-evaluating their current plan, Emily and her team possess the tools and experience to provide cutting-edge retirement solutions.
After assessing a business owner’s tax situation and retirement goals, Emily determines what type of plan will be most advantageous for the owner to install. She designs and administers a wide variety of qualified plans including 401(k), 403(b), Profit Sharing, Defined Benefit, and Cash Balance Plans. In addition, she specializes in taking over distressed plans with compliance shortcomings and has experience preparing the necessary IRS documents to remedy compliance and document failures.
Emily is a Los Angeles-area native and 2002 graduate of La Canada High School. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pacific Lutheran University. In addition, Emily is recognized as a Qualified 401(k) Administrator (QKA) by the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). In her spare time she is an avid long-distance runner and has completed several marathons. She is a proud wife and mother of two daughters.
